A very wise (and wealthy) internet marketer once told me that when people are searching the internet just for information on a product, they will use broad terms like “netbooks”, or even “netbook review”. But when people have their credit cards in hand and are ready to buy, they often will look for the exact name and model of the product. That statement alone has made me a lot of money over the past year.

As online marketers, our responsibility to our readers is to give them as much good quality information as possible. We sell our products and services to help solve problems, and answer questions. Niche marketing means researching a niche, and having the best knowledge and tools to start making money online. Visualization always works for me when I want to start a niche marketing campaign. I think about having all of the money I have ever wanted. Then I see myself whipping out my Black American Express Card, and thinking about the types of products I want to buy. Then I start noting all of my ideas on a notepad. I make sure that I narrow everything down, and I start doing my keyword research, and set up my marketing campaigns. Try it, you will be surprised how many people will be searching for the products you dream up.
